The Noodler’s Neponset

I won a prototype Noodler’s Neponset in a contest a bit before it was released. I filmed this review to share it with others. This is the review that got it all started.

The Noodler’s Neponset is a music nib pen with a double slit nib and a double channel feed. It is a Noodler’s pen, so it is also made to be a flex nib. I experienced decent flex and ink flow, but really not much more than what I see with a Noodler’s Konrad. The filling mechanism itself is the same as that of the Noodler’s Ahab, and the cap is a screw cap.

I liked this pen, but not well enough that I would be willing to pay┬áits list price. I just did not see the advantage over a regular Noodler’s Konrad.

Keep in mind that back at this time, I was filming with an iPad, and doing some work on my living room.

This is my first post on this new blog. I’ll be exploring fountain pens, writing, ink, paper, and other facets of the fountain pen world.

I may also explore what it is to live in small town North Dakota.

I’ll be posting old reviews of pens, and then I’ll start adding reviews of pens as I film them. My primary emphasis will be the YouTube Channel. But, this written form should eventually create┬áits own identity as well.
